Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Conductor Christian Curnyn
Director / Designer Netia Jones
Mozart’s much-loved final opera, The Magic Flute, illustrates love and reason’s triumph over chaos and evil. Tamino and Papageno set out to rescue the Queen of the Night’s daughter, Pamina, from the evil Sarastro. But is everything as it seems? Heart-warming arias, effervescent coloratura and lyrical folksong combine in this new production of Mozart’s sublime work, directed and designed by Netia Jones and conducted by Christian Curnyn.
