Known for her work with Valery Gergiev, Mlada Khudoley was born and raised in Moscow and now lives permanently in the US. Her roles include those of Berlioz (Cassandra Les Troyens), Bellini (title role Norma), Puccini (title role Turandot and Manon Lescaut), Strauss (title role Ariadne auf Naxos and Salome), Verdi (title role Aida, Leonora Il Trovatore, Lady Macbeth Macbeth, Abigaille Nabucco), as well as Wagner (Sieglinde Die Walkure, Gutrune Gotterdammerung, Senta Der Fliegende Hollander, Elisabeth Tannhauser).
Miss Khudoley has appeared with the Mariinsky Theatre at the Metropolitan Opera of New York, at Edinburgh Festival, at Dutch National Opera and at Teatro Regio di Torino among others. She appeared as Lisa Pique Dame at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Abigaille at Oper Stuttgart, at Polish National Opera, at Royal Danish Opera and with Tampere Philharmonic in Finland. She appeared as Sieglinde with Bryn Terfel under the baton of Valery Gergiev at the Wales Millenium Center, and made her debut as The Kaiserin Die Frau ohne Schatten with the same conductor at the Mariinsky Theatre.
Her performances in the title role Turandot that opened Bregenz Festival during the summer of 2015 won her excellent reviews and she returns next year to revive the role. She takes on the title role Norma, which she sang in Europe in recent seasons, at Florida Grand Opera in January 2016
