Rescigno has conducted symphonies, concertos, operas and oratorios, from Bach through contemporary works, in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. He has served as Artistic Advisor and Principal Conductor of the Florentine Opera Company (Milwaukee) since 1981 and also serves as Music Director of La Musica Lirica. Rescigno has made seven recordings — Río de Sangre, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Verismo, and Joruri — and he is now working on his first book, The View From the Pit: Where Theater Meets Music.
