Ieva Prudnikovaite was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. She finished her studies at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (Prof.R.Maciute).
She is the prize winner of International Singing Competition (Stiftung Helga und Paul Hohnen) in Cologne (Germany), also of several national competitions in Lithuania.
I.Prudnikovaite has sung with Lithuanian National Symphony, Lithuanian State Symphony, Budapest Symphony, WDR (Cologne) Symphony, Essen Philharmonic, Bochum Symphony, ORF Vienna Radio Symphony , Lithuanian Chamber Orchestras. The conductors she collaborated with: S.Sondeckis, G.Rinkevicius, J.Domarkas, M.Pitrenas, S.Krylov, S.Soltesz, S.Sloane, A.Joel, G.Garcia Calvo, O.Meir Wellber.
From the season 2008/09 Ieva Prudnikovaite is the soloist of the Essen Aalto Theater (Germany). The roles she is singing there: Kontschakowna („Prince Igor“), Roβweiβe („Die Walküre“), Juno („Semele“), Fenena („Nabucco“), Gymnasiast („Lulu“), Federica („Luisa Miller“), 2Norn/Waltraute/Floβhilde („Götterdämmerung“), Suzuki („Madama Butterfly“), Giullietta („Les Contes d‘Hoffmann“), Carmen. In 2010 was awarded „The Singer of the Year“.
The role of Carmen I.Prudnikovaite was also singing in Braunschweig Opera Theater, Latvian National Opera and Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater (here was awarded the prize „The Singer of the Year 2009“). In 2011 Ieva Prudnikovaite has sung Maddalena in G.Verdi‘s „Rigoletto“ in Wiener Festwochen (dir.L.Bondy) and also in Volksoper Wien (Austria).
