33 years, conductor, pupil of Marco Zuccarini, Donato Renzetti and Gianluigi Gelmetti, Francesco Quattrocchi combines artistic and ideational skills as well as a tenacious passion for success that involve every phase of production of musical and operatic events.
Offering an excellent directorial technique, he has a deep knowledge of the operatic and symphonic traditions in the different performance practices, with a strong ability to focus on the specific quality of the performers (repertoire and roles, cadences, variations, etc).
In an age like our, marked by fragmentation of competencies, responsibilities and balances in the entire cultural sector, the future of music production is in the hands and in the management and production capacities of those versatile artists like Francesco Quattrocchi who, with their experience and sensitivity, create a real interface and the only guarantee, artistic and organizational, of interpretative and financial adequate choices among institutions, the client and the world of the interpreters, and then up to the very wide world of the general public.
Precisely for these skills he has been invited as a guest conductor of prestigious institutions, including: Teatro Verdi of Trieste, Sofia Opera, Dubai Opera, Royal Opera House Muscat-Oman, Teatro Comunale of Bologna, Festival Scarlatti of the Teatro Massimo of Palermo, Teatro Solis-Montevideo, Orchestra Filarmonica of Montevideo, Festival della Valle d’Itria, Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia, etc. obtaining flattering consents and leaving a positive memory in the artistic masses.
With his extensive symphonic, operatic and concert repertoire (MADAMA BUTTERFLY, FALSTAFF, DON CARLO, MOSÈ, I CAPULETI E I MONTECCHI, etc.) and collaboration with artists such as Ruggero Raimondi, Mariella Devia, Massimo Cavalletti, Vladimir Stoyanov, Pietro Spagnoli, Sara Mingardo, Isebelle Kabatu, Giorgio Gatti, Luciano Ganci, Bogdan Mihai, Paolo Gavanelli, Aurio Tomicich, in a short time he built up considerable experience corroborated from the post of Artistic Advisor of IME, International Music Eventes ldt, which he held for several years.
In his formation is important to remember the collaboration with the Ensemble Seicentonovecento, with whom he studied the historical performance practice and the production of first executions of today’s music under the direction of Flavio Colusso, of whom he also conducted the first performance of the opera IL MAESTRO DI CAPPELLA, ovvero: i fantasmi dell’opera, later registered at the Sala Accademica of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
The several productions conducted by him include the first staged opera inside the cathedral of Milan, in collaboration with Expo2015: MOSÈ by Rossini with Ruggero Raimondi. The exhibition, created with the innovative 3D videomapping technology, featured video recording in 4K format for the distribution in major international networks.
In September 2016 he inaugurate with great personal success the New Dubai Opera Theatre conducting the symphonic gala OPERA WHITOUT WORDS and IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA by Rossini, opera that will soon take him again at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste (February 2017).
With his conducting CD debut, Sinfonie avanti l’opera: intorno a Mozart, he won the price Opera Imaie 2007 for the best classical recorded production of the year.
His audio-video recordings for MR Classics, Bongiovanni, Cmajor, as well as his live performances are broadcast by Radio3, Rai3, Mediaset, Mezzo, Arte, Canal+, ORF, ZDF, Radio Classica Sud America and are highly appreciated by the international critics (AllMusic Guide, American Record Guide, Fanfare Magazine, etc.)
