Carlos Enrique Santelli, a native of Orlando, Florida, holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he studied with Freda Herseth, Salvatore Champagne and Howard Lubin. In 2013, he was a Gerdine Young Artist with the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, where he covered the role of Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance. He most recently appeared as Ferrando in Così fan tutte with the University of Michigan Opera Theater and as Gonzalve in Ravel’s L’Heure Espagnole. In the summer of 2016, he will be an Apprentice Singer with the Santa Fe Opera, where he will cover several roles. Mr. Santelli has appeared as a soloist with the Binghamton Philharmonic and Rochester Symphony Orchestra. In 2015 he presented a recital to benefit the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.
