Camille Schnoor was born 1986 in Nice of a German father and a French mother. She began studying piano in Nice and Paris. After graduating 2007 as a concert pianist at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSM), she started to study voice and also trained ballet at the Centre de Danse du Marais.
Since 2014/2015 the french-german soprano has been under contract at the Theater Aachen in Germany, where she already sang the title-role in Luisa Miller, soprano solo in Verdi's Requiem, Agathe in „Der Freischütz“ and Maria in „West Side Story“. This season she sings there Marie in „The bartered bride“ by Smetana and the second daughter in the german premiere of the opera „Au Monde“ by Philippe Boesmans.
From 2016/17 Camille Schnoor will be under contract at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Munich, where she will sing among others Donna Elvira in a new "Don Giovanni" production, Hanna Glawari in "Lustige Witve" by Lehár, Julie in the world premiere of "Liliom" by Johanna Doderer, and Alexandra in the operetta "Die Faschingsfee" by Kálmán.
She performed in concerts at the Circolo de la Stampa in Torino, the Theater aan het Vrijthof Maastricht,, the Goethe Theater Bad-Lauchstädt, at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester singing Le Poème de l'Amour et de la Mer by Chausson. The concert was broadcasted on the BR Klassik, live from Prinzregententheater in Munich.
Camille Schnoor won the First Prize, the Audience Prize and the Orchestra Prize at the 2013 International Singing Competition of the Konzertgesellschaft München e.V. in cooperation with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester as well as the 2012 Theater Initiative Aachen scholarship.
She attended Master Classes at the Academy of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Accademia della Voce in Torino, the Maastricht Jekerstudio, and the CUBEC Academy in Modena.
